This is the outcome of a 2 day modeling/Unreal lecture at https://www.school4games.net/ .
We used classic polygon modeling with some face weighted normals.
The hut uses 2 main materials one opaque master material and one masked master mat.
Derived from these are 5 instances.
1 woodplanks
1 wood ends
1 opaque straw material
1 masked straw material
1 atlas for masked loose straws that were put in here and there
the hut hast 3 lod stages.
highes resolution was about ~11k triangles
down to ~1.5k as the lowest one
